GSM Phones

Most GSM phones support three bands of frequency or four bands of frequency. They are usually referred to as tri-band or quad-band phones. A band is a small section of spectrum of radio communication frequencies, in which channels are usually used or set aside for the same purpose.

DUAL-BAND PHONES are mobile phones that are able to operate on two GSM frequencies: 850 MHz and 1900 MHz

TRI-BAND PHONES are mobile phones that are able to operate on four GSM frequencies: 900 MHz, 1800MHz, and 1900 MHz

QUAD-BAND PHONES are mobile phones that are able to operate on four GSM frequencies: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, and 1900 MHz
