DATA MONTHLY SERVICES

Buddy postpaid subscribers wanting to avail of monthly data services will need to come in to an iConnect
shop to sign-up. The cost for postpaid data services is $14.88 a month. The existing validity and conditions of
their current service will be followed until their subscription has expired or has been opted out of.

PROGRAMMING UNITS FOR DATA CAPABILITES

In order to avail of the Data Month services all subscribers need to make sure their units are configured
correctly. Phone Networking Settings should be completed with the following information:

ACCOUNT NAME: Buddy

APN: iCAN

 

PREPAID DATA

Daily Service:

Cost is $1.00/day and will automatically renew every day at 3AM, as long customer has
sufficient balance.

To activate TEXT: DATADAY<space>ON and send to 500.
Subscriber will only be able to register once under the Daily Data Service, this means they will
not be deducted again if they accidently re-register. If customer chooses to unregister they may
do so by TEXTING: DATADAY<space> OFF and send to 500.

Weekly Service:

Cost is $6.00/7 days and will need to be renewed once the 7 days has lapsed. A reminder
message will be sent via SMS 2 days prior to expiration. Expiry will be
7 days later at the same time as registration time.

To activate TEXT: DATAWEEK<space>ON and send to 500.
Once subscriber registers, they will not be able to unregister and will not be able to register
under the Daily Data Service. Subscriber may make multiple registrations under the Data Weekly
Service as long as they have sufficient balance. For every successful re-registration they will be
extended for another 7- days after initial expiry date and time. If customer wishes to register
under the Monthly Data Service, they may do so and will begin their 30 days after expiry date
and time of the current Weekly Data Service.

Monthly Service:

Cost is $20.00/30 days and will need to be renewed once the 30- days has
lapsed. A reminder message will be sent via SMS 2 days prior to expiration.
Expiry will be 30 days later at the same time as registration time.

To activate TEXT: DATAMONTH<space>ON and send to 500.
Once subscriber registers they will not be able to unregister and will not be able
to register under the other data plans. Customer may re-register under the
Monthly Data Service and will be extended another 30 – days after expiry date
and time of current Monthly Data Service.

 

STABILITY OF DATA SERVICES

The speed of one's mobile internet service varies depending on various factors. Factors that may affect the
actual speed of the data services include, but not limited to:

  • The mobile phone's hardware/software.
  • The number of people trying to access a certain site.
  • The kinds of applications being used.
  • The number of people sharing the connection at the same time.
